- Gumroad has no monthly fee and acts as merchant of record, handling sales tax for you. Lootly does not handle sales tax for you by default; this calculator does not put a value on that.
- Fees are only part of the picture. Stan Store, Beacons and others offer features Lootly does not have yet (for example email marketing and ad pixels on some plans). Check the comparison pages before you switch.
How the maths works
For each plan: platform fee per sale (percentage plus any fixed fee), plus card processing per sale, times your monthly sales, plus the monthly plan price. What you keep is your sales minus all of that. Monthly prices are used; several platforms are cheaper when billed yearly.
Not included: sales tax or VAT, refunds and chargebacks, payout or currency-conversion fees, and marketplace fees (for example Gumroad charges 30% on sales made through its Discover marketplace).

Questions
Which plan is cheapest?
It depends on how much you sell. On Lootly, Seed (free, 7% per sale) is cheapest until about $286 a month in sales; above that Growth ($19.99 a month, 0% platform fee) costs less. Stan Store Creator ($29 a month) costs less than Lootly Seed above about $414 a month in sales. Payhip Free (5%) costs less than Lootly Seed at every sales level.
Are payment processing fees included?
Yes, as an assumption you can edit. By default we use 2.9% + $0.30 per sale, the standard US card rate for Stripe. Your real rate depends on your processor, country and card type.
Where do the competitor numbers come from?
From each company's public pricing page, checked November 3, 2026. Linktree does not publish USD prices or seller fees on its own page, so its numbers come from third-party blogs and are marked unverified.
Does this tell me how much I will earn?
No. It only does the arithmetic on the price and sales numbers you type in. It is not a forecast of sales or income.
Start on Lootly for free
Seed is free with a 7% platform fee per sale. Growth ($19.99/month) and Scale ($79.99/month) have no platform fee. Card processing fees apply on every plan.
